Park Highlands Las Vegas Community By Developer Of Southern Highlands
Park Highlands Las Vegas announced newest master-planed community by Southern Highlands Las Vegas developer, Olympia Group, at a ground-breaking ceremony yesterday. Home builders committed to Park Highlands real estate include American West, Astoria, D.R. Horton and Standard Pacific.
In November 2005, Olympia Group acquired 2,675 acres of land around the northern Beltway at a Bureau of Land Management public auction, paying $639 million for the land. A 300-acre conservation area has been set aside by the BLM to protect the endangered Las Vegas buckwheat and bear poppy plants.
