The Mob Museum opens to the public on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2012. The Mob Museum, the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, is a world-class destination in downtown Las Vegas. It presents an exciting and authentic view of the mob’s impact on Las Vegas history and its unique imprint on the world.
First Friday Las Vegas is already showing marks of new ownership, announcing details for the nine year anniversary event taking place on Friday, October 7 from 6 p.m. until midnight. Oct. 7 to bring more art, entertainment and food, as well as expanded hours and parking to downtown Las Vegas festival.

Fremont Street Las Vegas celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Moon Landing, commemorating the Apollo 11 mission. Events will kick off Thursday, July 16 through 26, 2009. Headlining concerts by The 5th Dimension and Jefferson Starship.
The “One Giant Leap” events will also feature nightly entertainment including bands California Dreamin, Venus Rising, Mojo Rising (a tribute to The Doors) and Yesterday - A Tribute to The Beatles. Throughout the 11-day commemorative event, Fremont Street Experience will also play a special “40th Anniversary of Moon Landing” Viva Vision show that will highlight the day-by-day events of the Apollo 11 mission.

Sixth annual RaceJam music events located downtown Las Vegas for NASCAR fans. Join the fun and excitement on Fremont Street Experience with country star Trent Tomlinson and Artimus Pyle, former Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer.
Downtown Fremont Street Experience will host at the Third Street Stage country star Trent Tomlinson. RaceJam, is a three day event to entertain NASCAR fans in Las Vegas, Nevada for the Shelby 427 and Sam’s Town 300 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The downtown Golden Nugget hotel casino has been given the honor by the Automobile Association of America as one of 14 hotels within the entire US to receive the 2009 Four Diamond award for 32 years or longer. It is interesting to see that a property on the Fremont Street Experience.
