Mountain Edge Las Vegas passes Summerlin as best selling master plan in the United States. Mountains Edge real estate is developed by Focus Property Group.

Even though Focus Property Group is going into foreclosure, they have claimed both number 1 and 5 best selling master plan in the country.

Mountains Edge sold 1,750 new homes for sale 2007 in the 3,500 acre master plan in south Las Vegas Valley. To move them from number 2 to number 1 was a difference of eight home sales.

Focus Property Group asks to stop interest payments for three years on the $470 million in Las Vegas Nevada real estate loans on 4,800 acres of land. Last month they stopped making their loan payments.

Focus asked investors of their mortgage loans to extend them three years of credit with additional extensions.

Focus Property Group stops making interest payments on $500 million in land loans. The real estate in Henderson, Nevada was won in June 2004 at a Bureau of Land Management auction for $557 million.

The property in question is 4,800 acres of land located in Victorville, California, Pahrump and the Las Vegas Valley. The Focus Property Group is one of the largest developers in Southern Nevada.

Providence, Las Vegas master-planned community in Southern Nevada by Focus Property Group opened last week. The community, in the northwestern Las Vegas Valley is 1,200 acres built around an “American Spirit” theme.

Providence is a master planned Las Vegas community built on the notion that some things are just too good to leave in the past. With a dramatic mountain backdrop to the west and spectacular city lights to the east, Providence boasts a setting unmatched by any other master planned community. Seventeen top homebuilders will build the 7,500 Las Vegas homes in Providence’s 30 neighborhoods. Las Vegas condominiums to estate homes will be offered.

Providence is located at Interstate 215 and Hualapai Way. It is really the first large-scale master-planned community in the northwest Las Vegas Valley.

Providence will have 7,500 single-family and multifamily houses when complete (less than 5 percent is attached), said John Ritter, chief executive of Focus Property Group. Families are expected to begin moving in by Spring 2007, Ritter said.
