Las Vegas Fashion Show mall planned sale to save real estate investment trust from financial woes this week. General Growth Properties is the owner of three malls on the Strip including Shoppes at Palazzo, Grand Canal Shoppes and Fashion Show.

Town Square Las Vegas shopping center is now open on the Las Vegas Strip at the junction of I-15 and the 215 Beltway. This large retail real estate development, including 22 buildings and 1.5 million square feet, is a partnership between Turnberry Associates and Centra Properties.
This is a unique family friendly open air retail center on 117 acres of land with varying materials including hand painted plaster, stone and marble. The developers have included different cities’ architecture to include 70 fascades. A large children’s park is located in the center of the pedestrian friendly shopping mall in Las Vegas, Nevada real estate.
North Las Vegas mixed-use real estate development is close to starting in the City of North Las Vegas. Up to 800 Las Vegas homes and almost 1.3 million square feet of retail center in an unnamed project.
The North Las Vegas real estate is located near Interstate 15 on Craig Road, north of Downtown Las Vegas and near Nellis Air Force Base. Shopping is expected to open in the last quarter of 2008 with the homes following shortly thereafter. Expected development cost is $300 million.
A unique way to create buzz for this Las Vegas mixed-use real estate project is with a contest to name the development. The winner will will receive a fully paid university or college tuition, room, board and books.
A Nevada based, Celebration Centers of America, purchased the Las Vegas land and development with Athena Group LLC. The homes portion of this mixed use Las Vegas commercial real estate will be by The Athena Group. Vestar Development Co. of Phoenix, with leasing by Taubman Centers Inc. will develop the retail portion.
Town Square Las Vegas commercial real estate is 80% pre leased. Town Square real estate is one million square feet lifestyle center south end of Las Vegas Boulevard. This real estate in Las Vegas project is a joint venture between Centra Properties and Turnberry Associates. Construction has been started and continues until mid 2007 for completion.
Town Square on Las Vegas Boulevard is located at the I-15 and the 215 Beltway. The leasing agent for the commercial Las Vegas property says that negotiations are currently underway for about half of the remaining 200,000 square feet of available commercial retail space.
McCarran Marketplace Las Vegas shopping center, will now debut by year’s end. The 80-acre site bound by Eastern Avenue and Russell Road, Patrick Lane and Surrey Street, is located on county-owned Las Vegas land, adjacent to the McCarran airport. Marnell Properties has a 50-year ground lease to develop the site.
The $40 million shopping complex will be co-anchored by a 203,000-square-foot Wal-Mart Superstore and a 170,000-square-foot Lowe’s Home Improvement Center, with PetSmart, Office Depot and Ross as junior anchors combining for 90,000 square feet.
