The 3rd annual cut-a-thon to benefit Locks of Love will return to Rio Spa & Salon at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino on Wednesday, Aug. 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Generous patrons that choose to donate at least 10-inches of hair will receive a complimentary blunt cut and a 30-percent discount on any additional styling or coloring treatments at the salon.

Celebrity hairstylistKim Vo will host a donor drive benefitting Locks of Love, a non-profit charity organization that provides high quality hair prosthetics to financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair loss. The event will commence at the Kim Vo Salon at The Mirage Las Vegas hotel from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 2011.

2nd annual Locks of Love 2011 Cut-A-Thon raising a total of 61 ponytails to benefit the organization at Rio Spa & Salon. This year’s event was held in honor of Rylie Cruz, the granddaughter of a longtime Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino employee, who lost her battle with cancer earlier this year.
