Mexican Independence Day celebration at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas presented its first-ever Mexican Independence Day celebration Sept. 15-17, 2011. The festivities kicked off Thursday, Sept. 15 at 11 p.m. with “Grito Mexicano,” a cry of patriotism performed by Mariachis and accompanied by the ceremonial ringing of the bell event.
