Caesars Palace celebrates a two-year renaissance, a Las Vegas’ world-class destination gaming resort. The renaissance, which began in March 2011 with the return of Celine Dion, encompasses significant entertainment premieres, award-winning restaurant additions and the debut of two new highly anticipated hotel towers.
Today, Caesars Palace Las Vegas announced plans to open the Octavius Tower, a 668-room hotel tower including 60 suites and six luxury villas. The resort’s sixth tower will offer a unique luxurious resort experience with a private entrance, separate hotel lobby and direct access to the Garden of the Gods pool oasis and gardens. Rooms will go on sale Thursday, September 15, for guest arrivals beginning January 2, 2012.
Another Las Vegas hotel halts construction of tower due to economy. Continued drop in visitors causes Harrah’s Entertainment to stop construction on Caesars Palace’s new tower.
Today the world’s largest gaming company postponed approximately 660 new hotel rooms from its scheduled summer completion. The decision was made due to news of less Las Vegas visitors.
