Las Vegas sports arena unveiled by Harrahs and AEG this week. A $500 million, 20,000 seat, privately financed venue will be built a block from the Las Vegas Strip. The 10 acres of land is located behind Paris and Bally’s resorts that is owned by Harrahs. The arena in Las Vegas, Nevada real estate is expected to start construction next summer after the agreed letter of intent between the two companies, and the completion of the paperwork.

A $9.5 Billion arena and Las Vegas mixed use real estate project approved this week by the Las Vegas City Council anchored by a 22,000 seat luxury arena, for a professional sports team, that is part of 85 acres of land in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada and portion of the Las Vegas Strip. A Michigan based real estate development company, named REI, is the site developer.

UFC 70 Ultimate Fighting Championship NATIONS COLLIDE had Gabriel Gonzaga drop Mirko Cro Crop, with a head kick knocking him out in the Octagon at the main event of the Las Vegas real estate based organization for the UFC 70 Nations Collide in Manchester, England, on Saturday.
Cro Cop was defeated via knockout at a Pride Fighting event on April 25, 2004, when Kevin Randleman did it in 1:57 of Round 1. Gonzaga, 27, improved to 8-1 overall (4-0 UFC) with the victory. Cro Cop dropped to 22-5-2 overall (1-1 UFC).

UPDATE:UFC Tito Ortiz TKO Over Ken Shamrock “THE FINAL CHAPTER” Oct 10.
Ultimate Fighting Challenge Tito Ortiz wins victory over Ken Shamrock of UFC 61 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
Almost a minute into arguably the most anticipated matchup of the evening, the Ultimate Fighting Challenge bout between Tito Ortiz and Ken Shamrock was stopped by referee Herb Dean, causing the fans at the Mandalay Bay Las Vegas Event Center to pelt the ring with debris.
The two fighters refused to touch gloves beforehand. Shamrock went on the immediate attack. At the 4:30 mark, Tito Ortiz took Ken Shamrock down hard to the mat, his trademark ground-and-pound technique in full effect, where the fight would and the fight ended in controversy shortly thereafter.
