WICKED, the most anticipated musical production of the 2014-2015 Broadway Las Vegas series will return from October 8 – November 9, in Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. Back by “popular” demand Variety calls WICKED “a cultural phenomenon,” and it continues to break box office records across North America. Winner of over 50 major awards, including a Grammy and three Tony Awards, Wicked is “Broadway’s biggest blockbuster” (The New York Times).
Ghost The Musical is a timeless fantasy about the power of love set in modern day New York City, performing at The Smith Center until August 17. Employing special effects never before seen in an on-stage musical, Ghost The Musical features illusions that leave audiences astonished and questioning if what they just saw was real.
The Smith Center drew back the curtains in the world premiere of its first-ever co-production, William Shakespeare’s THE TEMPEST, to unveil a wonderful land of wizardry in Symphony Park on April 5, 2014.
“Disney’s Beauty and the Beast,” the award-winning worldwide smash hit Broadway musical, is coming to The Smith Center as part of the Broadway Las Vegas series. Produced by NETworks Presentations, this elaborate theatrical production will come to life on stage April 16 to 21.
Jersey Boys star and recording artist, Travis Cloer, brings his versatile vocal styles and energetic show “Setting the Standard” to The Smith Center for the Performing Arts for one night only on Monday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. The performance will include songs from his album “Setting the Standard” and timeless hits from Broadway and jazz to R&B and pop.
