The Ultimate Fighting Championship mixed martial arts event will be held at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada real estate. The pay per view mma event will be shown at 10pm ET / 7 pm PT.
All 18 UFC fighters competing on February 2, 2008 UFC 81 event made weight Friday afternoon at Mandalay Bay Las Vegas.

UFC 65 Ultimate Fighting Championship from Las Vegas, has Georges St. Pierre wins with TKO over Matt Hughes in the Octagon at Arco Arena real estate. St. Pierre has never been shy in saying Matt Hughes as his mma mixed martial arts idol, even citing it as a reason for his 2004 loss to the longtime champion. Tonight St. Pierre beat his hero in their rematch, scoring a one-sided second round TKO to win the UFC 65 Welterweight Championship.
The outcome was most unexpected my most UFC 65 enthusiasts. Most MMA observers, who figured the Ultimate Fighting Championship Bad Intentions bout would be one of the most competitive of 2006. Finally, it was George St. Pierre who ran through Matt Hughes with extreme prejudice.

Ultimate Fighting Challenge Tito Ortiz wins victory over Ken Shamrock of UFC 61 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
Almost a minute into arguably the most anticipated matchup of the evening, the Ultimate Fighting Challenge bout between Tito Ortiz and Ken Shamrock was stopped by referee Herb Dean, causing the fans at the Mandalay Bay Las Vegas Event Center to pelt the ring with debris.
The two fighters refused to touch gloves beforehand. Shamrock went on the immediate attack. At the 4:30 mark, Tito Ortiz took Ken Shamrock down hard to the mat, his trademark ground-and-pound technique in full effect, where the fight would and the fight ended in controversy shortly thereafter.
