Restaurateur, chef, New York Times Best-Selling author and Emmy Award-winning TV host Guy Fieri made a grand entrance at his first Las Vegas restaurant, Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen & Bar on Friday, April 4, 2014. Guy arrived in a classic Chevy Camaro while the UNLV cheerleaders and marching band greeted Guy, playing the UNLV fight song and “Viva Las Vegas.”

Guy cooked up a storm at the grill where the crowd looked onward as he served his signature Bacon Mac-N-Cheese Burger.

The 6,500 square foot space will feature a large outdoor patio and dining area to seat 200 patrons who will be able to enjoy the panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip and will open later this month.

Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen & Bar at The Quad Las Vegas will feature an open design with wood and steel elements along with repurposed materials. Fieri’s tattoos will be incorporated as part of the design elements throughout the restaurant and bar, and memorabilia from his alma mater, UNLV will be featured throughout the venue.
