'For Goodness Shake' Blends Custom Milkshakes & Smoothies For Charity

For Goodness Shake brings a new and exciting way to cool down as the mercury begins to rise. At the 1,100-square-foot shake shop, customers will choose from healthy smoothies, shaved ice creations and delicious milkshakes while making a difference in the community.

For Goodness Shake, opening in June 2013, allows customers to get inventive with the “Create Your Own Milkshake” menu that allows them to customize their shakes any way they please. Guests can step up to the blending bar and choose their non-fat yogurt base (milk or lactose free) and then select from more than 40 toppings including chocolate bars, candy, cookies, fruit and more.

With the purchase of any of these items, or custom blended delights, a donation will be made to provide a meal for a child in need. Partnering with Three Square Food Bank, Southern Nevada’s only food bank that aims to provide wholesome food to hungry people, clever messages displayed throughout For Goodness Shake remind customers that they are indulging with a purpose.

“I’m inspired by the TOMS shoe model where you’re continuously giving back to the community and as sales rise, donations rise. Everyone loves milkshakes, so why not use that passion to help make a difference in the city,” said Owner and Head Community Shaker Manny Vargas.

For Goodness Shake also features house designs such as “Kid in a Candy Store,” a chocolaty treat mixed with Snickers, M&M’s, Kit Kat and Twix. For customers who prefer nature’s candy, the “Smoothie” menu features blends of seasonal fruit from the freshly squeeze orange juice-based Orange Creamsicle to Feelin’ Fuzzy, a powerful mix of peaches, strawberries, passion fruit and apple juice.

For Goodness Shake is located at 4220 S. Grand Canyon Drive, Las Vegas, Nev. 89147, or call 702-768-0710.
