“We couldn’t have asked for a better day to return for our fifth year in Las Vegas,” said event coordinator Danny Earl. “The new Tropicolor theme really added an exciting element to the run and the runners definitely looked the part.”

Participants sprinted, walked and even danced their way through designated color zones throughout the 5k course with each checkpoint sporting a new hue. Bubbles infused with island-inspired scents reinvigorated runner’s senses as a new addition to the fun run experience.

A 15-foot-tall pineapple and an eight-foot-tall beach ball provided one-of-a-kind photo opportunities for the friends, families and kids who joined the five million runners who have crossed The Color Run’s finish line since its inception in 2012.

Cheers could be heard at the finish line as runners poured in, covered head-to-toe in the bursts of powdered color where they gathered around for the finish festival featuring sounds by live DJs and enjoyed refreshments of hand-spun cotton candy and shaved ice. Photo credit: Flo-Foto
