“Boca Park Fashion Village is proud to host the Alex’s Lemonade Stand charity event. It’s a wonderful opportunity for our guests and tenants to come together and have an afternoon of fun while helping to fight childhood cancer,” said Stacy Debevec, director of marketing for Boca Park Fashion Village.

The event is open to the public of all ages with free admission and free parking including valet parking, which is always complimentary for all Boca Park Fashion Village customers.

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of cancer patient Alexandra “Alex” Scott (1996-2004). In 2000, 4-year-old Alex announced that she wanted to hold a lemonade stand to raise money to help find a cure for all children with cancer.

Since Alex held that first stand, the foundation bearing her name has evolved into a national fundraising effort that has raised over $80 million while carrying on Alex’s legacy of hope. Lemonade will be sold during the Boca Park event for a donation to the cause.

In addition to the lemonade stand, guests can purchase tickets for carnival games that will be placed throughout Boca Park Fashion Village. There will also be a fashion show featuring clothes from Fashion Village’s many signature high-end shops. George Cartwright, president and chief executive officer of the Better Business Bureau of Southern Nevada will serve as emcee.

Fashion Village is currently seeking volunteers of all ages to participate in the fashion shows. Volunteers can sign-up at any participating shops.

Boca Park Fashion Village is located at 8800 West Charleston Boulevard (at South Rampart Boulevard). For more information about this event please click Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation event
