Hussong's Cantina Celebrates Cinco de Mayo With Specials & Fun Events
Hussong’s Cantina & Taqueria will host drink specials, a “Shake Weight†competition and a foosball and beer pong tournament in honor of Cinco de Mayo. The popularly celebrated holiday commemorates the victory of the Mexican Militia over the French Army at The Battle of Puebla in 1862.
Guests can enjoy the holiday with Hussong’s tasty Mexican menu, varied drink specials and entertaining mariachi rock band. Beverage specials will be offered Tuesday, May 1 through Saturday, May 5 including: 5 bottles of Corona, Corona Light or Victoria for $15 and Hornitos Margaritas and shots for $5 and XO Patron shots for $5.
On Cinco de Mayo the restaurant will offer Draft Negra Modelo for $3, draft Pacifico for $3, Tequila shots off of an ice luge for $5, Taparitas of Pacifico for $35 and 60 oz. Giant Taparitas of Pacifico will be available for $50.
The “Shake Weight†competition will take place on Thursday, May 3 from 7:30 pm to 10 pm. On Friday, May 4, the Mexican restaurant will host a foosball tournament from 7:30 pm to 10 pm. Cinco de Mayo will feature a beer pong tournament from 1:30 pm to 3 pm and a later contest from 7:30 pm to 10 pm. Prizes will range from free beer to a Patron letterman jacket and everything in between.
