The Sayers Club Grand Opening With Pop Artist Tove Lo At SLS Las Vegas

A Hollywood favorite, The Sayers Club, celebrated its official grand opening at SLS Las Vegas Resort with Swedish pop sensation Tove Lo on Thursday, Aug. 28. The Swedish singer-songwriter hit the red carpet with three of her band mates wearing a black AllSaints ensemble and custom Cheeky Monkey handbag for her Sayers Club debut.

The mini-concert featured a medley of Tove Lo’s addicting and raw ballads including her new single “Not On Drugs,” “Paradise” and “Habits (Stay High).” She also performed “Talking Body,” off her highly anticipated album Queen of the Clouds, before ending the night with the melodic “Run On Love,” leaving the packed crowd in a euphoric mood.

To top off the celebration, a four-tiered Sayers cake adorned in music notes was presented to Jason Scoppa, creator/curator of The Sayers Club, to commence a successful opening at the newest hotspot on the Las Vegas Strip.

At Foxtail Nightclub, Opening Weekend celebrations kicked off with Swedish female DJ duo Rebecca & Fiona, who dined at Katsuya and attended Tove Lo’s Sayers Club performance before ushering in the club with their electrifying style, as guests danced until the early morning hours.

Earlier that evening, DJ Steve Aoki made a quick stop inside Sayers Club before exploring the groundbreaking culinary experience at Bazaar Meat by José Andrés. Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton was also spotted at the fine dining establishment with a small group of friends.


After noshing on an array of meat-centric dishes, Hilton took to social media to rave about his experience claiming “this is one of the most epic meals of [his] life,” and “there is no better chef alive than José Andrés.” Photo credit: Brenton Ho/Powers Imagery
