Town Square Las Vegas shopping center ribbon cutting ceremony held on November 14, 2007. This exclusive video of the grand opening event marked the beginning of the open air facility on the Las Vegas Boulevard. Entertainment at the invite only event included Polish triplets playing the violin.
Town Square real estate is a 1.5 million square foot lifestyle shopping center on the Las Vegas Strip valued at $750 million.
Turnberry Associates, Florida based real estate developer, along with Centra Properties included enough surface parking and garages to house 5,800 cars. Turnberry spent $5 million to construct a flyover going northbound ramp from Las Vegas Boulevard into the area surrounding the center.
When complete, the development will provide 3,000 office jobs, and 4,000 to 4,500 retail jobs to shops including Apple, Express, Abercrombie & Fitch, H&M, 18-screen Rave Motion Pictures, Lucky Brand Jeans, Guitar Center, White House Black Market, Martin & Osa, Metropark, Chico’s and Soma.
About 75 of the 150 Las Vegas retail stores at Town Square are open with more grand openings in the next three months.
