World Series of Poker at Caesars Palace Hotel Las Vegas
The World Series of Poker revised Caesars Palace Las Vegas Circuit schedule includes a new $5,000 buy-in event that will test entrants’ expertise in four games - Omaha, hold’em, stud eight or better and stud.
The expanded 14-day schedule begins April 28 and concludes May 11 with the finals of the $10,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em poker championship located at the Caesars Palace Hotel2c Las Vegas. The winner of that event receives prize money and qualifies to play in the 2006 World Series of Poker Tournament of Champions, a freeroll competition in which 27 players will vie for $2 million in prize money.
The Caesars Palace Hotel in Las Vegas Circuit will mark the return of poker to the famed resort after a 15-year hiatus. The poker championship Circuit event will also be the first major poker tournament in the new, 6,000-square-foot private tournament room at Caesars Hotel Las Vegas. The tournament room is adjacent to the new 33-table Las Vegas poker room, which will offer non-stop live-game action to players eliminated from Circuit events, as well as other Caesars Hotel Las Vegas customers. Or maybe they can go shopping at the famed Caesars Forum Shops Shopping Center.
