Comme CA At The Cosmopolitan Debuts 'Gastropub Mondays' In Bar June 4

Comme Ça at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas by David Myers will unveil a new Parisian gastropub menu on Monday, June 11, for ‘Gastropub Mondays.’  This weekly occasion, available only in the bar and lounge, will showcase a number of specially created dishes that play on classic bar bites with a distinct French culinary twist.

Comme Ça’s innovative gastropub menu will showcase dishes such as the brasserie’s spin on a traditional “Bangers and Mash” featuring house made sausage and mashed potatoes with a rich onion gravy; Potted Grits with blue cheese, mushroom ragout and crispy arugula; Crispy Chickpea Fritters with melted petite basque and romesco sauce; Handkerchief Pasta topped with slow cooked meat ragout and mimolette cheese; and Poutine , a hearty mix of duck fat fries drizzled with oxtail gravy and cheese curds. Comme Ça favorites will also make an appearance on the menu, including Roasted Bone Marrow and Oxtail Jam and Boudin Noir Mac and Cheese.

Cocktail specials will also be featured, sponsored by Kilbeggan Irish Whiskey . Kilbeggan is one of the oldest whiskey distilleries in the world and produces a top-of-the-line spirit. Comme Ça will feature a new Kilbeggan cocktail each week during ‘Gastropub Mondays.’

Along with creative new menu items and cocktails, Gastropub Mondays will also feature live music from accomplished musicians Glenn Nowak, Bobby Lee Parker and Rob Whited, collectively known as The Whispering Giants. Parker and Whited were touring musicians and techs, who played auxiliary guitar and percussion on The Killers’ “Day and Age” world tour. They are also prominently featured in The Killers critically acclaimed DVD, “Live From The Royal Albert Hall,” which has sold over 500,000 copies worldwide to date.
