DC Shoes Opens Newest Flagship Store In Planet Hollywood Las Vegas
DC Shoes opens newest flagship store in Planet Hollywood Las Vegas, Nevada. They want to capture some of the 35 million worldwide visitors that travel to Las Vegas yearly that are fans of the DC brand.
The DC Shoes brand has been popular in Las Vegas and the extension of their flagship store the city seems like a natural progression. Many vacation in Las Vegas for sports events and enjoy action sports, too. Recently March Madness has lured large crowds of fans to enjoy sports events from around the country.
The sports attire and shoe store by DC Las Vegas is located inside Planet Hollywood Resort at the Miracle Mile Shops. This is the first store by DC to carry men’s products exclusively. The store offers accessories and footwear, along with DC’s LIFE and Skateboarding Collection, which includes DC Special Projects and DC athlete signature models.
Current footwear on display is a line of DC Shoes from Rob Dyrdek. There are three different models in the front window.
As the season changes, the store will include DC seasonal snow products, including snowboarding boards, boots and outerwear.
The current theme of the DC Las Vegas store embodies the DC’s action sports heritage, skateboarding and CA lifestyle. As shoppers enter the store an inverted vertical ramp is hung from the ceiling. To show the company’s history large format images featuring their world-class team of athletes and favorite moments are on display. Athlete appearances and special events will be held throughout the year at the DC Las Vegas store.
The Las Vegas location is preceeded by the first flagship store during the spring of 2006 in New York’s Soho shopping district. Other stores include Irvine, CA, Los Angeles, CA and Park City, UT.
