The Leeds-born DJ and producer who ascended with the original U.K. dubstep movement, Rusko, is launching his first-ever residency at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas every Saturday in August. Starting August 4, Rusko will bring 90 minutes of his signature sound to Rain Nightclub; an electrifying dance club in Palms that envelopes nightclubbers in one energetic and multi-sensory destination.
“Rain Nightclub has always been an iconic trendsetter in Las Vegas and the launch of Rusko’s first residency adds to the incredibly unique experiences expected there,” said Bronson Olimpieri, 9Group Co-General Manager. “Rusko’s innovative music and energy, paired with Rain’s dynamic offerings, will create a monumental month at Palms for our guests.”
A staple of the global electronic underground, Rusko has packed nightclubs, concert venues and festivals across the world. “Happy and heavy” is a proper way to describe the vibe that has carried Rusko from the first moments of dubstep’s life to the biggest stages in the world.
“I’m super excited to play Rain Nightclub at Palms in Las Vegas. I’ll be dropping exclusives for the crowd. Perfect way to end the summer,” said Rusko about his new residency.
Rusko created the majority of his hard-hitting debut artist album, “O.M.G.!,” on the road, cutting tracks by day, and testing them on living, breathing dance floors by night. As a follow-up, he wanted to try a different strategy and has launched “SONGS;” a gutsy, freewheeling, brilliant second album featuring a rowdy kind of sprightliness throughout.
Rusko will kick off this exclusive and much anticipated residency at Rain Nightclub Las Vegas August 4 with additional shows on the 11, 18 and 25. With multiple levels and environments comprising 25,000 square feet, extraordinary design and special effects, Rain Nightclub represents the ultimate contemporary nightclub and concert venue.
Rain is open Friday and Saturday at 11 p.m. Cover charges vary; guests must be 21 and older. For tickets and reservations call 702.942.6832
