Frankie Moreno Live Celebrates 500 Shows & DWTS Dancer Beginning 6/12

Headliner Frankie Moreno will debut a brand new show including new band members, songs and choreography in preparation for his 500th performance at the Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower Las Vegas beginning 8 p.m. on June 12, 2014. Special performances by Dancing With The Stars’ Lacey Schwimmer will also be added to the critically acclaimed Frankie Moreno Live at Stratosphere.

“I want to continue keeping audiences entertained and after 500 shows at the Stratosphere Theater, this is the perfect time to mix it up a bit,” said Moreno. “I think the audience is really going to like it.”

Moreno is known for his unique and enthusiastic style on stage. The singer, songwriter and showman is incorporating the changes to keep the show fresh for audience members and to tap into his own artistic pursuits.

Changes include new songs written by Moreno and his song-writing team, brothers Ricky and Tony Moreno. The band will also debut four new members who, along with the entire band, will take a more active role in the performance by participating in choreography.

“Frankie Moreno Live at Stratosphere is one of the premier live shows on the Las Vegas Strip with an incredible amount of artistic energy, showmanship and talent,” said Paul Hobson, Vice President and General Manager of the Stratosphere. “We’re excited about the changes and the new feel to the show.”

The dance and choreography aspects of the show are being directed by professional choreographer Lacey Schwimmer, will also dance periodically during Moreno’s performances. Schwimmer, who performed for six seasons on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars program also danced during Moreno’s performance on the popular show in 2012.

Frankie Moreno performs with his 10-piece band Wednesday through Saturday at 8 p.m. in the Stratosphere Theater. Tickets are $39.99, plus tax and can be purchased online at www.stratospherehotel.com or by calling 702-380-7777. Locals receive a 25% discount on ticket prices.
