8th Annual 4th of July 5K Blast & 1 Mile Walk
The Las Vegas Running Team presents this annual event at Bunker Family Park. Race starts at 7 AM on July 4. There will be prizes, awards, music, cash drawings, food and fun!
Clark County Pools and Water Parks Fourth of July
Various locations; 702-455-8200. Featuring free swimming at Clark County pools and water parks noon-4 p.m. Desert Breeze Water Park, 8275 Spring Mountain Road, will be open noon-4:30 p.m., and Hollywood Skate Park, near Sahara Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard, will have free admission noon-4 p.m. The pools open are: Las Vegas; Parkdale Water Park, 3200 Ferndale St., Walnut Water Park, 3085 Cecile Ave., Las Vegas; Desert Breeze Water Park, 8275 Spring Mountain Road, Las Vegas; Whitney Pool, 5700 E. Station Casinos 4th of July Fireworks Displays
Grucci fireworks at 9:30 p.m. at the following locations: Green Valley Ranch Resort, 2300 Paseo Verde Parkway, Henderson; Sunset Station, 1301 W. Sunset Road, Henderson; Red Rock Resort, 11011 W. Charleston Blvd., Las Vegas; Fiesta Rancho, 2400 N. Rancho Drive, North Las Vegas; Texas Station, 2101 Texas Star Lane, North Las Vegas; and Santa Fe Station, 4949 N. Rancho Drive, Las Vegas. Star Spangled Spectacular with the Las Vegas Philharmonic
Bring the whole family out to Hills Park on July 4 (9100 Hillpointe Road) for this great show! Music Director David Itkin and Associate Conductor Richard McGee lead the orchestra in patriotic tunes, followed by Zambelli Internationale’s fireworks display set to the 1812 Overture. gates open at 4:30. Downtown Henderson 4th of July
Enjoy two stages of entertainment from 6-9 PM on the 4th of July! All of Henderson will be celebrating in the Water Street District, with a Henderson fireworks show off the top of City Hall.

Summerlin Council’s 14th annual Patriotic Parade July 4, southern Nevada’s largest and most colorful Fourth of July parade. Parade takes place from 9-11 AM with more than 60 entries! Visit: www.summerlin.com/news/events.php.
4th of July Boulder City Damboree
Various Boulder City locations; 293-9256. A pancake breakfast at 7 a.m. at Bicentennial Park, Utah Street and Colorado Street, and a parade beginning at 9 a.m. at Colorado Avenue down Nevada Highway to Fifth Street to Broadbent Memorial Park, Avenue B and Fifth Street. The parade will be followed by Damboree ceremonies, games, entertainment and food, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Broadbent Park with games, food and entertainment, 6-11 p.m. at Veteran’s Memorial Park, Buchanan Boulevard and Airport Road, with fireworks at 9 p.m.
18th Annual Laughlin Rockets Over the River
Dusk starts the fireworks on the 4th of July with the incredible 18th annual Rockets Over The River fireworks display will be free for public viewing along Laughlin River Walk.
