Las Vegas Homes Sales Figures & Las Vegas MLS August Inventory Rise
Las Vegas homes sales and Las Vegas mls figures show a small decrease in condos and townhomes listed and a slight increase of single family homes for sale in August, 2007.
The Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS, or GLVAR, report includes listing and sold activity through the Multiple Listing Service. The statistics don’t include FSBO’s and new builder homes in Las Vegas, Nevada real estate.
The Las Vegas mls shows the $299,900 median sales price of sold single family homes in Las Vegas real estate market. This is a 1.7 percent from $295,000 in July and a decrease of 3.9 percent from August, 2006.
Single family homes sold in August was 1,316, down 0.2 percent from the July total of homes at 1,318. The totals from August, 2006, sold total has declined 37 percent. Townhomes and condos sold in August, declined 5.9 percent from July sales of 303.
Local homes for sale listed in the mls increased a small 1.1 percent through August for single family homes. A total of 24,341 homes for sale were listed compared to 24,087 homes in July. That is a difference of 19.4 percent from August 2006 stats.
Townhomes and Las Vegas condos, the median sales price in August fell to $195,000 a 2.6 percent difference in July to $190,000 in August. From last August sales a 8 percent dip.
The number of townhomes and condominiums and listed for sale declined to 6,269 a 0.8 percent in July to 6,221 in August. A total increase of 23.4 percent from the number of townhomes and condos listed a year ago in August 2006.
