Las Vegas Restaurant Week 2011 At Select MGM Resorts Int'l Restaurants
Feast like a king as the 5th Annual Las Vegas Restaurant Week 2011 event as it kicks off Aug. 29 – Sept. 11 at select MGM Resorts International restaurants. The finest restaurants, celebrity chefs and Master Sommeliers will come together to support Three Square, a non-profit organization working to end hunger in Southern Nevada. Las Vegas Restaurant Week becomes a two-week affair this year with more extraordinary dining options for guests to enjoy including worldly cuisines with special menus priced at $20.10, $30.10 and $50.10.

Las Vegas Restaurant Week is part of Hunger Action Month (HAM), Feeding America’s “Give a Little, Feed a Lot†campaign to motivate local communities to take action. ARIA Resort & Casino
AMERICAN FISH by Michael Mina will present a truly delicious menu of Shrimp & Grits, Mediterranean Branzino and Mascarpone Cheesecake. BARMASA’s menu will feature clean, uncomplicated Japanese cuisine such as Kegani Hairy Crab Sunomono, Wagyu Garlic Soy Steak and Miso Créme Brulee. Discover the triumphs of Chinese dining with Blossom’s menu of tasty Pot Stickers, Wok-Fried Chilean Sea Bass and Mochi Ice Cream or stop by either Sage or Jean Georges Steakhouse to begin dinner with a refreshing summer peach salad.
Julian Serrano created three-course lunch and four-course dinner menus including choices of traditional Spanish Chicken Croquetas, Stuffed Piquillo Peppers, Salmon with truffle, Valenciana Paella and Flan. Explore authentic Thai cuisine at Lemongrass with Yellow Curry Chicken or Bua Loi, a sticky rice flour dumpling served in warm coconut milk. Sirio Ristorante will transport guests to the heart of Italy with items such as Scaloppine Di Vitello (Veal scaloppine in Marsala wine and mushroom sauce) and Pollo Alla Milanese (Milanese chicken breast pan-fried and breaded with arugula and cherry- tomato red onion salad).
UNION Restaurant & Lounge will offer a special wine pairing to accompany a menu of Roasted Tomato Soup, American Kobe Flat Iron, Apple Pie and more. Café Vettro and SKYBOX Sports Bar and Grill will offer delicious soup and sandwich combos followed by flavorful ice cream options for dessert.
BELLAGIO
Step into Osteria del Circo and savor the best of Tuscan cuisine with a choice of Il Pollo (Roasted organic chicken breast) or Il Salmone (Grilled king salmon). MICHAEL MINA Bellagio provides guests the option of Phyllo-Crusted Sole, Truffle Stuffed Chicken or Filet of Beef while those who step into the elegance of Jasmine can try Prime Beef Tenderloin, Walnut Prawns or Tofu with Shiitake mushrooms. Café Bellagio will feature lunch and dinner menus and will join Osteria del Circo, MICHAEL MINA Bellagio and Jasmine in offering the option of special wine pairings.
The chefs at Sensi will prepare a Vietnamese Lemongrass Pork Chop or a Grass-Fed Skirt Steak, while Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Lounge, Akira Back will serve Scottish Salmon or Jidori Chicken. Experience summer flavors at Prime Steakhouse with Tomato Gazpacho, Roasted Baby Beets and Bacon-wrapped Shrimp. Dine on the outdoor patio at Todd English’s Olives to enjoy a Pacific White Fish with creamy chive risotto, roasted baby carrots and lemon butter emulsion or a Chicken & Vegetable Lasagna with roasted tomato purée, seasonal vegetables, whipped ricotta cheese, toasted bread crumbs and mozzarella fondue. Guests in the mood for a high-energy dining atmosphere should head to FIX with scrumptious choices of Roasted Tomato Soup, Wood Grilled Filet and Warm Banana Doughnuts.

Diego invites guests to enjoy a taste of Mexico with Sangria and several delicious items including Queso Fundido (Traditional baked cheese with poblano chile rajas, Negra Modelo black beans and pork carnitas), Mariscos Diablo (Day Boat scallops, black tiger prawns, salmon, bass, Masa dumplings, Tequila blanco sautéed in a roasted garlic red chile sauce), Arrachera (Mesquite grilled, red chile rubbed flank steak with Nopales, tomato salad, roasted mushroom tamale and huitlacoche crema) and Crepas con Cajeta (Fried bananas and cajeta caramel, pecans and Mexican chocolate ice cream). Join Fiamma Trattoria & Bar on a culinary journey with Arancino & Breaded Eggplant Bites served with marinara sauce, Calamari and Raviolini, or visit Grand Wok and Sushi Bar to try tender Macadamia Beef with X.O. sauce or Sweet and Spicy Chicken with orange sauce.

Aureole’s Executive Chef Vincent Pouessel designed two menus for guests featuring delightful selections such as Diver Scallops with wild mushroom terrine, True Cod Fish and Chips, Smoked Salmon with warm potato salad or Roasted Muscovy Duck Breast with foie gras ravioli. Diners who choose STRIPSTEAK by Michael Mina will have a choice of a Wedge or Heirloom Tomato Salad, All Natural Skirt Steak or Kansas City Steak plus a choice of seasonal side dishes and Beignets served with Madagascar vanilla créme brulee. Travel to the top of Mandalay Bay to experience dinner with a view at miX, featuring Seared Duck Foie Gras, Braised Wagyu and a miX Candy Bar. In the mood for Italian? Head over to Wolfgang Puck’s Trattoria Del Lupo to enjoy a special menu of Maine Lobster Salad, Loin of Natural Veal Marsala and Ricotta Cheesecake Napoleon.

Those looking for a more casual meal will enjoy the trio of sliders, fries, and a S’more cupcake at BLT Burger or try a hearty Pastrami and Corned Beef Sandwich, fries, and famous cheesecake from Carnegie Deli. Dine among the incredible translucent glass spheres at FIN while being treated to a Lemon Fried Sea Bass or Red Curry Beef. Imported directly from Ireland , the authentic Irish pub Nine Fine Irishmen, will feature a fun and delicious menu with a variety of choices. Select a Mixed Green Salad and Corned Beef Sandwich for lunch or Drunken Onion Rings, Irish Banger, Fish and Chips and Shepherds Pie for dinner. The newly opened Rice & Company will offer a taste of the Far East with Orange Peel Chicken and a Trio of Créme Brulee including blood orange, coconut and vanilla flavors.
