Party At The Palms Vegas: Jason Giambi, Dir. Michael Bay & UFC Pres
Palms Las Vegas was host to many big sports stars including Jason Giambi, famous movie director Michael Bay and UFC President Dana White. The Palm’s nightclubs and restaurants including N9NE Steakhouse, Nove Italiano, Playboy Club, Moon Nightclub were visited by these guests looking for great food and fun on Friday and Saturday.
Film director and producer Michael Bay dined at N9NE Steakhouse inside Palms Casino Resort Saturday night December, 19, 2009. Accompanied by a party of ten, they sat in the main dining room and started with shellfish platters for the entire table. For his main course, Bay feasted on charred New York strip steak along with sides of asparagus and mac and cheese. He was seen sipping on Ketel One martinis and a few beers. Before leaving, Bay took a tour of the kitchen and hung out with Executive Chef Barry Dakake.
UFC president Dana White partied at the Playboy Club with a group of six others. They were seated at a VIP table near the dance floor and were seen drinking Ketel One mixed drinks and a bottle of Perrier-Jouet Rose Champagne. At 12:30 a.m., White and his party moved up to a table in Moon Nightclub where he enjoyed the scene until slightly after 2 a.m.
Also on Saturday At Nove Italiano, athlete Felix Sanchez enjoyed dinner with his girlfriend. They started with some signature appetizers brought out by Executive Chef Geno Bernardo. Then they shared the veal osso buco and the penne ala vodka. After dinner, Sanchez chatted with Chef Geno and signed his door.
DJ Felix da Housecat partied at Rain Nightclub with five guests who enjoyed a table near the DJ booth. Around 1 a.m. Felix took on the turntables and rocked the house for nearly two hours.Also at Moon Nightclub was rock and roll group Darling Stilettos, who earlier that evening performed at the lounge inside Palms Casino Resort. They were seated at a table and were accompanied by eight friends. They enjoyed Ketel One mixed drinks.
On Friday night December 18, 2009, Major League Baseball player Jason Giambi dined at N9NE Steakhouse. Accompanied by four others, they shared the signature rock shrimp to start. Giambi then enjoyed the classic Caesar salad and Kobe burger for his main course. At the end of his meal, Giambi was seen chatting with Executive Chef Barry Dakake and taking a shot of Harlem Liqueur.
Also at N9NE Steakhouse was former MLB player Howard Johnson. He and his party of three started with the shellfish platter. Johnson enjoyed the fall salad followed by the rib eye for his dinner. For sides, the table shared cold water lobster tail and baked potato. To finish, they indulged by having the special chocolate tart for dessert.
At Nove Italiano, hall of fame football player Franco Harris enjoyed a lovely dinner solo. Executive Chef Geno Bernardo prepared a few appetizers to start and for his main course, Harris feasted on the chicken parmesan. For dessert, he had the strawberry carpaccio. Following his meal, Harris took a tour of the restaurant and kitchen and even signed Chef Geno’s door. Harris then made his way upstairs to Playboy Club to enjoy some gambling.
