Sky Las Vegas High Rise Sale On The 42nd Floor Raises $2.7 Million

Sky Las Vegas CondoSky Las Vegas condos penthouse sells for $2.7 million on the 42nd floor. This luxury condominium is 2,985 square feet with a sales price of $904.53 per square foot. The buyer didn’t receive appliances, flooring, interior design elements and wall coverings.

Days after a luxury home sale in The Ridges in Summerlin real estate, several weeks after a 10 million home sale in Southern Highlands a luxury Sky condominium sale sets another high.

Luxury homes in Las Vegas, Nevada real estate prices continue to rise despite the residential real estate slowdown.

The views from the penthouse spanning east near Nellis Air Force Base and south from Las Vegas Boulevard was a determining factor in the elevated price tag.

The median price for a Sky Las Vegas high rise condo is about $650 per square foot.

The luxury real estate market is completely different than the residential. The economic conditions don’t usually affect the millionaires who have the money to afford a second or third home.

A recent condo sale in Sky was completely finished and was a three story suite with a sale price of approximately $901 per square foot. Prices are escalating because of the huge land purchase by MGM Mirage and Kerzner International Holdings around the development and neighboring mega resorts including the Turnberry Fontainebleau Las Vegas. Until the 2009 opening of Project CityCenter on the Strip, Sky is the only Las Vegas Boulevard address.

International jet setters and world wide real estate moguls with holdings in New York, Hawaii and San Francisco purchase luxury homes in Las Vegas.

For wealthier purchasers until they have property on or near the Strip they can’t keep up with their peers.

Finishing with designer touches of this luxury condo could cost $300 to $500 per square foot.
