Wine Country Welcomes The Spirit of Autumn At Bellagio's Conservatory
The sights, scents and sounds of the harvest season have arrived at Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens. On display through Nov. 24, the captivating fall exhibition takes guests on a romantic journey through wine country, without leaving Las Vegas.
Bellagio Floral Display
This year’s show boasts a bevy of seasonal visuals including an authentic cider mill, a vintage wine press and an aged stone face.
Upon entrance to the Conservatory’s stunning display sits a covered bridge surrounded by flora dressed in traditional harvest colors: green, red and orange. Visitors are encouraged to walk across the bridge as large ginger leaves float silently overhead.
Lying in the South Garden is a 6-foot-tall moss-coated aged stone face emerging from the grassy ground. A floral pumpkin made of 3,000 orange carnations and moss-covered boulders creates an intoxicating autumn atmosphere.
Also in the South Garden and surrounded by birch trees, the sounds of the harp, violin and cello will entertain guests daily from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. as they travel through wine country.
Steps away, in the West Garden, a 40-foot-tall authentic cider mill gently flows into a rocky pond protected by a 15-foot-tall, traditional scarecrow. Hand-blown wine bottles, demijohns and petite and plentiful pumpkins awaken the spirit of autumn at every turn.
The North Garden is home to a 1920s vintage-aged wine press and 20-foot-tall talking tree showered with wine grapes. On each side of the tree, grape and gourd-filled cornucopias spill onto the grassy earth while inviting guests to explore the wonder of wine. In conjunction with the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art’s exhibit “Claude Monet: Impressions of Light,†the Conservatory has created a floral interpretation of Claude Monet’s Grainstack (sunset).
Located in the Giardini corner, the recreated painting is fitted within a 6-foot tall elaborately carved frame.
