Austrian Felix Baumgartner became the first man to break the sound barrier in free fall from a height of 128,100 feet or 39,068 meters and a maximum speed of 833.9 miles/h or 1342.8 km / h.
Now watch in amazement Baumgartner’s headcam as he makes his way towards earth. Pay close attention to the uncontrolled spin he’s in while he’s on way to breaking the sound barrier. The big brown ball you see is earth!
