2007 Miss America Pageant Finals At Aladdin Las Vegas Hotel Tonight
2007 Miss America Pageant showcases contestants at the Aladdin Las Vegas hotel tonight starting at 5 pm. The pageant will air in Las Vegas real estate from 8 to 10 pm on CMT. Miss America tickets are $95.24 from Ticketmaster. The pageant is at the Aladdin hotel for a second year.
The pageant began in 1921 as an Atlantic City, NJ businessman’s hopes to extend the summer tourist season.
Nevada has never had a Miss America. Miss Nevada is excited to become the next Miss America.
Las Vegas is the site of the Miss America Pageant for the second year in a row. The telecast will be Jan. 29 from the Aladdin Theatre.

This year’s contest comes at a bizarre time in the pageant world. In December, Miss USA Tara Conner in December came close to losing her crown for allegedly partying too much, while Miss Nevada USA Katie Rees lost her crown a short time after internet photos surfaced.
Miss America program, a non profit organization, is unrelated to the Miss USA/Miss Universe family.Â
Today the pageant is the world’s leading provider of scholarships to young women.
The crowd favorite was Las Vegas Miss Nevada, who drew cheers for her simple line, “I’m the hometown girl, I’m from Las Vegas, and I’m Caydi Cole of Nevada.”
Caydi Cole, 22, Las Vegan, a graduate of the Las Vegas Academy of International Studies, Performing and Visual Arts.
Cole, who advanced to the Miss Nevada pageant in July after winning the Miss Clark County crown, performed a jazz vocal to “Blues in the Night” for the talent portion of the state pageant.
The new 2007 Miss America will succeed reigning 2006 Miss America Jennifer Berry.
