2013 Epicurean Epicenter Series Culinary Events Announced For Bellagio

The 2013 Epicurean Epicenter Series has been announced at Bellagio, recipient of 13 consecutive AAA Five Diamond Awards, continuing their tradition of unforgettable culinary experiences coupled with perfectly paired wines. The resort’s legendary chefs, along with talented Master Sommelier and Bellagio Director of Wine Jason Smith create an exceptional lineup of events that provide guests with exclusive dining experiences.

Bellagio’s 2013 Epicurean Epicenter Series schedule of events is as follows:

Art & Wine: A Perfect Pairing – Second Wednesday of every month Join Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art (BGFA) Director Tarissa Tiberti and Master Sommelier and Director of Wine Jason Smith as they host a creative event that will enhance the mind and please the palate. Art & Wine: A Perfect Pairing is held the second Wednesday of every month, beginning January 9, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will feature art from a new BGFA exhibit, “Warhol Out West,” along with pairings from the Bellagio wine cellar.

At 6 p.m., guests will enjoy an interactive wine and art conversation with Tiberti and Smith. Cost is $30 for members and $38 for non-members. Tickets may be purchased by visiting the BGFA ticket counter or calling 877.957.9777.

January 26: Inglenook, Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten and Francis Ford Coppola Guests can taste five wines from the legendary Inglenook estate, paired with the critically acclaimed cuisine of James Beard award-winning chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten of Bellagio’s Prime Steakhouse. Moments after watching each course prepared right before their eyes, guests will savor Vongerichten’s menu along with Inglenook wines, as paired by Managing Director Philippe Bascaules, Owner Francis Ford Coppola and Bellagio’s Director of Wine Jason Smith. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. in Tuscany Kitchen and tickets are priced at $350, all-inclusive.

February 13-16: Diaoyutai State Guesthouse Culinary Festival The Diaoyutai State Guesthouse of China, the exclusive retreat of Chinese royalty and world leaders, will host an exquisite culinary festival in Tuscany Kitchen to celebrate Chinese New Year. China’s premier culinary team will create the menu, which will consist of rare, intricate dishes that only a select few in the world get to experience.

The four-day event begins at 6:30 p.m. nightly in Tuscany Kitchen and tickets are $500 per person, all-inclusive.

March 9: Justin Winery and Celebrity Chef Todd English Join acclaimed celebrity chef Todd English of Todd English’s Olives on a culinary journey sure to impress even the most discerning of palates. With an impressive menu complemented by the exceptionally hand-crafted Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc of Justin Winery, English will demonstrate how to prepare a variety of select dishes to guests.

Hosted by Master Sommelier and Director of Wine Jason Smith, this spectacular dinner is certain to be a memorable evening. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. in Tuscany Kitchen and tickets are $175 per person, all-inclusive.

June 8: ZD Winery and Sensi Executive Chef Roy Ellamar Sustainable cuisine and Napa Valley wine meet in an unparalleled menu prepared by Sensi Executive Chef Royden Ellamar and paired with the exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines of ZD Winery. Hosted by Master Sommelier and Director of Wine Jason Smith this dinner will enlighten and inspire guests.

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. in Tuscany Kitchen and tickets are $150 per person, all-inclusive.

July 6: BBQ & Beer with Bellagio Executive Chef Edmund Wong Bellagio Executive Chef Edmund Wong presents his popular BBQ and Beer event for the fourth consecutive year. Guests will enjoy a playful menu paired with a variety of beers for a fantastic summer affair. The event begins at noon in Tuscany Kitchen and tickets are $85 per person, all-inclusive.
