Mom’s apple pie has a little extra spice this season with the new “Apple Pie” cocktail at RHUMBAR Lounge. The Mirage’s stylish cocktail lounge will debut the cocktail just in time for the fall season, giving the traditional dessert a little Las Vegas kick.
The perfect mix of spiced rum and apple puree solidifies a taste that is enough to make the mouth water, while the trace of daiquiri adds delightful texture. The cocktail is creatively garnished with two slices of dried apple.
“This fall-inspired cocktail is RHUMBAR’s way of spiking mom’s apple pie,” says owner Michael Frey. “Plus, our frothy concoction has fewer calories than a slice of real apple pie, so guests can drink up instead of skipping dessert.”
- 1/2 oz green apple puree
- 1 1/2 oz Montecristo Spiced Rum
- 1 oz RHUMBAR daiquiri mix
- 2 piece dried green apple chips
Add apple puree, spiced rum, and daiquiri mix into a mixing glass. Shake and stir vigorously in ice. Strain and serve into a martini glass. Garnish with dried green apple chips.
