Rocker Avril Lavigne Celebrates 26th B'day @ WET REPUBLIC Ultra Pool
Punk rocker Avril Lavigne celebrated her 26th birthday at WET REPUBLIC inside MGM Grand Las Vegas Saturday, October 2, 2010. The singer arrived ready to rock in a black tank-top and cropped pants with a small bit of color in her pink zebra-printed belt.
Showing she is a punk princess to the core, Avril’s fingernails were stylishly manicured with black and silver polish.
Girlfriends and Avril squealed with excitement when they saw her fabulous Hpnotiq candy-themed décor inside the VIP bungalow. The singer immediately started taking photos on her black-rhinestone phone of the Hpnotiq-swirled lollipops and pink skull-and-crossbones decorated bags.
Lounging on her private daybed, Avril enjoyed the sweets and ordered up WET REPUBLIC favorites including Kobe Sliders, Chicken Fingers and Chips & Salsa.
Avril slipped into a cobalt-blue hoodie right as gorgeous cocktail servers equipped with dozens of sparklers surprised the popstar singing “Happy Birthday!” The excited birthday girl danced around during the serenade before receiving a gorgeous three-tiered Hpnotiq-swirled and skull-and-crossbones stamped cake.
Ready to get the party started in a turquoise bandeau bikini, friends toasted Avril’s Vegas birthday with shots. The unexpected rain couldn’t stop these ladies from celebrating.
When the steamy WET REPUBLIC received a shower, Avril playfully grabbed a lollipop to use as a magic wand and commanded the rain to stop. The bikini-clad crowd at WET REPUBLIC took advantage of the weather and began a massive dance party in the rain complete with fist-pumping to DJ Hollywood’s tunes.
