Shaquille O'Neal Celebrated His Retirement Party At Palms Las Vegas

Shaquille O’Neal celebrated his retirement party at Moon Nightclub inside Palms Las Vegas hotel on Saturday, June 25, 2011. Shaq started the evening with dinner at NOVE Italiano Restaurant by Chef Geno with friends and family.

Chef Geno prepared a great menu for them, family style consisting of his Nana’s meatballs, Shrimp Franchise, Federal Hill Calamari, Spaghetti Bolognese, and Chicken Parmagean. For dessert, Chef Geno brought out Nove’s dessert platter for them.

They absolutely enjoyed everything, especially the marscapone cheesecake. Before heading out to Moon, Shaq went to Geno’s office to sign his famous shakedown door and take a picture with him. He said they all had a great time at Nove Restaurant.

After dinner Shaq headed to celebrate his retirement party at Moon Nightclub inside the Palms Casino Resort. Shaq along with family and friends had a VIP table and enjoyed Dom and Patron.

Shaq was on the Mic for about 30 minutes and had DJ Exodus do a tribute to Michael Jackson and the packed crowd at Moon sang along. Shaq and his fans enjoyed a tribute reel of his career highlights through the years that was played on screens throughout the club. Caked Las Vegas prepared an amazing cake for Shaq that included the Superman logo.

New York Jets Quarterback Mark Sanchez stopped by to say hello to Shaq as did Illusionist Criss Angel. Palms resident DJ Pauly D topped off his weekend launch at Moon Nightclub in front of a packed and passionate crowd.
