St. Patrick's Day Lucky Themed Cocktails For Guests At Tabu Lounge
Partygoers can channel the luck of the Irish over St. Patrick’s Day Weekend at Tabú Ultra Lounge inside MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. Las Vegas’ first ultra lounge will celebrate the holiday March 16 – 18 with specialty cocktails including the Dublin Shake, The Irish Horse and Red Shamrock.
Tabú’s gorgeous model servers will deliver these spirits of Ireland to clubgoers ready for a wee bit of leprechaun fun.
Dublin Shake ($12): This Celtic cocktail is the Irish version of a root beer float. The libation consists of â…“ ounce Baileys, â…“ ounce Jameson Irish Whiskey and â…“ ounce Kahlua Liqueur which floats over 3 ounces of Guinness. The chilled drink is served in a martini glass and garnished with chocolate shavings.
The Irish Horse ($10): No need for a pot o’ gold here. Tabú’s rainbow ends with glittering shots of The Irish Horse. This libation is strong and sweet with ½ ounce Jameson Irish Whiskey, ½ ounce Tuaca, ½ ounce Frangelico and ½ ounce simple syrup. The Irish Horse is shaken and then strained into a shot glass rimmed with green sugar and garnished with a sugar-coated lemon.
Red Shamrock ($12): Who says all St. Patty’s Day cocktails must be green? The Red Shamrock shakes things up – literally – by combining ¾ ounce Jameson Irish Whiskey, 1 ounce Amaretto, ½ ounce simple syrup and 3 ounces cranberry juice in a shaker. The beverage is then poured into a double rocks glass and garnished with fresh raspberries. Photo credit: Johnny Mancuso at onefive4.com.
