Due Forni Pizza & Wine, Summerlin dining destination and innovative Italian restaurant, delivers new seasonal menu items in addition to their signature fare. Aside from offering the classic Neapolitan and Roman pizza styles, the eatery has revolutionized their dual Napolitano brick ovens to dish out gourmet cuisine.
Executive Chef Carlos Buscaglia has crafted many house favorites including the Tartufo Pizza, Semolina Gnocchi and Branzino and has added a few more to the line up like the Tricolore, a salad comprised of farmer’s market greens, grapes, roasted cherry tomato and white balsamic, Barbabietole made of red beets, basil pesto, arugula, goat cheese and vincotto, and the Polipo, an appetizer consisting of braised Mediterranean octopus, arugula, pequillo peppers, taggiasca and mint vinaigrette.
In addition to the menu’s mouthwatering staples are rotating specials that will be offered during the season. Guests can indulge in savory options including Mailae, consisting of roasted pork loin, salsify, cipollini onions and fresh spinach with a honey glaze and Agnello, roasted lamb with white asparagus, wild arugula, pequillo peppers and a black olive puree.
For seafood lovers, Due Forni offers Lemon Tagliolini made of black tiger prawns, roasted tomatoes, basil, crispy alto adige pancetta or Capesante, oven roasted scallops, a fava been puree, cremini mushrooms and red pepper. A lighter option includes Melone E Prosciutto made of Tuscan melon, San Daniele prosciutto, mint goat cheese and vincotto.
Guests can end their meal with an after dinner drink to accompany an enticing dessert. Choices include Chocolate Pizza, consisting of a Neapolitan crust, nutella, valhrona chocolate, strawberries, toasted hazelnuts and vanilla gelato, Sweet Bufala Ricotta made of imported bufala ricotta, honey and toasted pistachios, Gelato , flavors include vanilla, strawberry cream, chocolate, or Bacon Covered Chocolate Gelato sprinkled with warm nueske bacon. In addition, Zabaglione with amaretto drunken berries will rotate through the season.
