Las Vegas Hotel Received Honored National Top AAA Award For 32nd Year

Golden Nugget HotelLas Vegas hotel received honored national top AAA award for 32nd year in a row.  The downtown Golden Nugget hotel casino has been given the honor by the Automobile Association of America as one of 14 hotels within the entire US to receive the 2009 Four Diamond award for 32 years or longer.  It is interesting to see that a property on the Fremont Street Experience.

This year the total list of 1,224 AAA honored hotels spanned the entire US.  17 of the 19, or 3.4% of the total listed AAA properties, 2009 AAA Four Diamond awards were awarded in Henderson and Las Vegas, Nevada real estate.  AAA has approved 58,000 properties and hotels throughout the United States.

The recognition by AAA is awarded to properties for high marks in quality of accommodations, customer service and other categories in the very competitive hospitality industry, especially in uber competitive Las Vegas.  The Diamond Rating System is one of two systems that conducts an on site evaluation along with it covering North America.  Each year professional trained full-time assessors examine each hotel every year using principles and rules to check each property.

The Golden Nugget is honored for receiving the esteemed distinction of the AAA Four Diamond Award.  They have been through a couple ownership changes in the last several years, including current owner Texas-based Landry’s Restaurants, and continue to excel and dedicate themselves to customer service and high standards.

During the current economic condition the Golden Nugget hotel casino is completing its $150 million hotel tower.  Scheduled opening is late 2009 will unveil 500 rooms along with entertainment venues, dining and more gaming to the property.
