Las Vegas New Year’s Eve free locals’ celebration with TributePalooza downtown at the Fremont Street Experience. Experience the party of the year along with the newest overhead display of video and audio on Viva Vision, “KISS Rocks Vegas,†and fireworks under the canopy, a Fremont Street first.
Are you on a limited budget and looking for an awesome and once in a lifetime way to celebrate the end of 2008? Locals with a Nevada id (21 and over) receive FREE tickets and visitors can call 877-834-2748 to purchase tickets for $20. Las Vegas’ biggest private party will be held along the Fremont Street Experience.
Located in the city’s outdoor entertainment venue, located steps away from your favorite 10 local casinos, will showcase eight live tribute bands, giant Viva Vision screen 90 feet high and 208 speakers capable of producing 550,000 watts of concert-quality sound. Visitors will be amazed with a sound and light show along with the Guinness World Record Holders, Bela Tabak’s Riders of the Thunderdome, performing in the Globe of Death motorcycle show. The daredevil team of four will thrill the crowds at speeds above 40 mph with their death defying feats.
As part of America’s Party, the citywide celebration, Fremont Street Experience’s New Year’s Eve celebration is the party of the year. Nothing compares to standing beneath 12.5 million lights counting down the last seconds of the New year in Las Vegas, Nevada with the classic neon flashing, nonstop entertainment and everyone having the best time of their lives.
Eight top tribute bands will perform at TributePalooza including David Bowie, Aerosmith, Eagles, Billy Joel, US, Queen, Rolling Stones and KISS.

The party starts at 6 p.m. Guests can enter the Fremont Street Experience at gates located in front of Fremont and Main, Fremont and 4th and Casino Center and Fremont. Parking for TributePalooza will be available at all downtown hotel casinos and the corner of Carson and 4th.
