Simon At Palms PlaceSimon Restaurant at Palms Place Las Vegas opened today by chef Kerry Simon. The $7.2 million restaurant is a business partnership with Elizabeth Blau and Palms owner George Maloof. Another restaurant in Las Vegas, Nevada includes the Simon kitchen + bar at the Hard Rock hotel casino.

Simon, managing partner, recently won the Iron Chef America award.

This space is both relaxed for the locals and for the affluent owners of the condos in Palms Place real estate. Owners of the Palms Place luxury high rise units expect a lounge and restaurant within the location. The restaurant holds 180 patrons within 6,000 square feet on the sixth floor. The views couldn’t be any better, overlooking the swimming pool.

The look and feel of the interior is of “sustainability” including bamboo flooring and an “herb wall” with fresh mint, basil, chives and rosemary plants.

Because of his accolades, people visit Las Vegas for Kerry Simon’s restaurants. He is in the company at the Bellagio of Las Vegas chefs including Michael Mina, Todd English and Jean Georges Vongerichten.

The menu at Simon offers The Iron Chef hamburger with French fries and a mini milkshake for $16. Entrées are a 20 ounce rib eye cowboy steak with roasted fingerling potatoes for $48 and organice rotisserie chicken with corn bread panzanella for $22.

You might have to do a double take when entering the rock n roll music filled space in Simon at Palms Place. The waiters are cool with black denim pants serving relaxed customers at the simple table setting. Hip and cool is the name of this destination.
