Three Square’s Spring Las Vegas Restaurant Week from Feb. 27 – March 4 at La Cave Wine & Food Hideaway and Society Café Encore will offer specialty menus, from which a portion of the proceeds will benefit the local non-profit organization that works to end hunger in Southern Nevada.
La Cave Wine & Food Hideaway – Chef’s Tasting Menu
Executive chef Billy DeMarco will offer a three-course tasting menu featuring a hand cut crudo of salmon, tuna and hamachi with scallop olive oil; an entrée of a braised half baby chicken served with broccolini and a tarragon jus; and a chef’s section of desserts. The menu is prix fixe, $50.12 per person, not inclusive of tax or gratuity. A Sommelier’s select wine pairing is also available for an additional $30 per person.
Society Café Encore – Lunch Tasting Menu
Executive chef Kim Canteenwalla’s three-course lunch tasting menu begins with a choice of Kabocha squash soup or roasted tomato bisque. For an entrée, diners can select from Society’s “Skinny Salad” with poached rock shrimp, Napa cabbage, arugula, radish, rice crackers and finished with a miso and yuzu dressing; or a grilled chicken fruit and nut salad with dried cherries, figs, cranberries, pears, hearts of palm, cashews and pomegranate vinaigrette.
Other entrée options are a turkey burger, topped with a shaved vegetable salad and cranberry-jalapeno relish; or Society’s version of a grilled ham and cheese sandwich with Kurobuta ham, Gruyere cheese, frisee salad and a poached egg. Warm donut “bites” and Society’s ice cream sandwiches, available in Oreo or Reese’s flavors, round out the dessert offering. The menu is prix fixe, $20.12, not inclusive of tax or gratuity.
