Celebrity sightings: rapper Sean Paul, Floyd Mayweather Jr and New Kids On The Block were seen at the Palms Las Vegas on May 7, 2010. The party began on Friday with the start of Ditch Friday pool party.

Highly anticipated reggae music icon Sean Paul had a special live performance for the sun seekers at Palms Pool & Bungalow. Guess who else showed up for the Las Vegas pool grand opening? Comic book writer and actor Stan Lee with his two guests, boxer Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and TV personality Maria Menounous, who came to party in a cabana.

New Kids on the Block were in the house at Palms for their performance at The Pearl theater. NKOTB and a group of 16 were hungry and headed upstairs to N9NE Steakhouse near 10 p.m. for dinner.

The table started out with the shellfish platter, sashimi, rock shrimp and the garbage salad. They also enjoyed entrées such as tuna steak Diane and the filets.

Also at the steakhouse, were NFL Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden cornerback and NFL Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas. They came in with a group of four around 10 p.m. and started out with crab stuffed mushrooms and calamari. Haden enjoyed an entrée portion of the jumbo shrimp cocktail for dinner and Thomas enjoyed a pound of crab legs for dinner with a side of plain mashed potatoes.

New Kids on the Block surprised partygoers near midnight at Rain Nightclub, with a special performance of their very popular hits.

Later on Friday, Golden State Warriors basketball player C.J. Watson arrived at 2 a.m. at Moon Nightclub with a group of four friends. He enjoyed the popular Patron and pineapple drinks. Photo credit: Joe Fury/ 9 Group
