Comme Ça by David Myers Rings in 2013 With A New Year's Eve Dinner

Comme Ça by Chef David Myers at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas as they ring in 2013 with the indulgent tastes of Las Vegas’ premier French brasserie with two tempting prix-fixe menus featuring exciting flavor profiles created by Chef Myers and Executive Chef Brian Howard, perfectly paired with decadent wines from resident Sommelier Bruno Bonnet.

The first seating and second seating tasting menus will showcase Comme Ça’s signature dishes with seasonal twists. Guests attending the first seating will enjoy an array of outstanding dishes from the four-course menu available for $95 per person – with a wine pairing option for an additional $45 per person – from 5 to 7 p.m.

The second seating will give guests the opportunity to enjoy the full spectrum of Comme Ça’s culinary finesse with the added luxury of a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. The menu will feature six indulgent courses for $195 per person – with an optional wine pairing for $75 per person – from 8 to 10:30 p.m.

Guests may choose to elevate their dining experience at either seating with a celebratory champagne and caviar course. Osetra Caviar will be served with non-traditional accoutrements for a supplemental $180, paired with Taittinger “Comtes de Champagne” Blanc de Blanc for an additional $50.

Comme Ça’s first seating menu will include:

First Course: Langoustine Cru with grilled hearts of palm, citrus and sea bean paired with Moulin de Gassac Picpoul de Pinet or Smoked, Cured and Brined Tasmanian Trout with a mélange of beets and wild flowers paired with Simmonet-Febvre Brut Rosé Crémant de Bourgogne.

Second Course: Veal Glazed Sweetbread with white truffle, chestnut and smoked potato accompanied by Laguna Ranch Chardonnay or Braised Wagyu Beef with winter vegetables, bone marrow agnolotti and white truffle paired with Domaine Parent Pinot Noir.

Third Course: Poached Lobster with black trumpet mushrooms, garnet yam and pomegranate paired with Kenwood Vineyards Pinot Noir or Stuffed, Wrapped, and Roasted Rabbit with bacon, red wine braised salsify and bergamot quince jam accentuated by Acre Winery Merlot or Roasted Filet of Beef with puntarella, foie gras and vadouvan-scented onion with Château Lacombe Noaillac Cabernet Sauvignon/ Merlot.

Dessert: Vacheron Cheese with whole grain mustard and California fig or Coffee Milk with caramel and dark chocolate. The wine pairing for either selection is Domaine de la Tour Veille Banyuls.

Comme Ça’s second seating menu will include:

  • First Course: Langoustine Cru with grilled hearts of palm, citrus and sea bean paired with Moulin de Gassac Picpoul de Pinet.

  • Dessert: Coffee Milk with caramel and dark chocolate paired with Domaine de la Tour Veille Banyuls.
