Downtown Las Vegas Opens Doors To New World Market Center Building C

World Market CenterDowntown Las Vegas opens doors to new World Market Center building C.  This week, one of the three building campus, opened a $550 million building.  Despite the economic conditions across the country the 17 story building welcomed furniture suppliers and manufacturers.

The week marks the summer market a weeklong event, one of two annual, at World Market Center.  The previous furnishings event took place in January.  These events are closed to the general public.  Many retailers from across the country travel to Las Vegas, Nevada to pick products for the upcoming season.

The entire complex of the completed three buildings at World Market Center Las Vegas total $1.1 billion.  The buildings are so large they can be seen downtown Las Vegas real estate and tower above the nearby highway.  Building C is has a look of its own including a modern look with strong angles.

Wholesalers are ecstatic about the completion of their building.  During past summer markets events were located at different hotels with convention space throughout the city.  Retailers couldn’t remember locations to purchase the latest items.

Over the past 12 months consumer spending on bedding and furniture have plummeted over $2 billion.  This has led the real estate developers at World Market Center to defer construction on Building D.
