Paul Oakenfold, one of the world’s leading djs, is resident dj at Rain Las Vegas nightclub. The N9NE Group and Palms will host Oakenfold at his first US residency dj position starting Aug 30 for the Labor Day weekend events in Las Vegas, NV. The special set called “Paul Oakenfold Presents: Perfecto Las Vegas†will be played to a packed audience in the 25,000 square foot Las Vegas nightclub.
Las Vegas continues to be known as the entertainment capital of the world. Incredible big name headliner shows including The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil, Criss Angel MINDFREAK and Cher Las Vegas show at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace are productions luring visitors from around the world, Oakenfold continues the tradition.
Oakenfold will be spinning in Las Vegas immediately after his worldwide “Greatest Hits and Remixes Tour,†a combination of remixes and house thumping dance recordings from 20 of his best selections. The celebrity DJ has held residences at Home @ Leicester Square and Cream Nightclub in the U.K.
His gig in Vegas will excite audiences with 26 shows ending after Summer 2009. The show at Rain nightclub is named after his label Perfecto Records. Perfecto Las Vegas is a partnership between award winning director Vello Virhaus and Oakenfold. When Paul is traveling other internationally known DJs will perform including Felix da Housecat, Carl Cox and Paul van Dyk.
