Hard Rock Las Vegas hotel unveils $60 million The JOINT concert venue today.  The old Joint will be converted to casino space much needed by the expanding casino hotel.  The new concert venue will accommodate 4,000 seats along with standing space for patrons to enjoy concerts, boxing, mma, corporate events and movie premieres.

Hard Rock Las Vegas hotel new joint 4,000 capacity theater opens April 17, 2009.  The hotel is finishing construction on the concrete and steel of the open performance $60 million concert arena.

Sceno Plus, a design firm based in Montreal, designed the Las Vegas performance venue.  They’ve also had their hand at the new Aliante Station hotel casino.

Downtown Las Vegas New Year’s Eve party counts down to 2008 in Vegas style. Fremont Street Experience welcomes the Bangles with “Manic Monday” and The Doobie Brothers with “Taking It To The Streets” at America’s Party Live in concert.

The streets downtown will be filled with several live bands to rock the crowd. The action on the street will include the Globe of Death incredible motorcycle show with the Riders of the Thunderdome. 90 feet above the street will be the glorious Viva Vision showing the sites and sounds of the new year. 10 downtown Las Vegas casinos will be transformed into the largest private party. Celine Dion says au revoir to “A New Day” concert from Caesars Palace Las Vegas, NV hotel. An emotional Celine ends her Las Vegas show into the wee hours of Sunday morning talking with fans, celebrities, family and reporters in the Colosseum.

Celine is part of a large family, youngest of 14 siblings, 10 of which were with her Sunday morning. Her son, Rene Charles, husband manager, Rene Angelil and her mother attended the eventful final performance at Caesars.
