Home AutomationHigh Tech hotel rooms at Project CityCenter Vegas: wave of the future.  Guest will be able to control their environment with an in room automation technology.  The $9.2 billion resort in Las Vegas real estate adds energy cost saving measures and unique technology not available before to hotel guests.

The luxury hotel rooms will be employing technology only accessible to MGM Mirage Project CityCenter guests within the Harmon Hotel, Mandarin Oriental and Aria.  The customized technology isn’t permitted for use by any other hotel until after CityCenter Las Vegas resort opens.

The resort is taking design ideas from home automation.  When guests leave their homes they want to enjoy the same comfort in their rooms.  Several hotels at CityCenter, Vdara and Veer Towers will not employ the technology along with the luxury condos at the resort.

Technology starts before the guest enters their hotel room when they use a keyless door system.  After they enter the room pre-saved guest setting control air temperature, music, lights, draperies and TV via remote.  Guests can view a 42 inch TV that displays the hub of communication with a clock radio, voicemails and messages.

Control4 Corp. technology integrator allows you to view your laptop computer on the 42 inch TV.  Although extremely robust, the automation will be easy for all ages.  The TV screen has prompts for every need.

Need high speed Internet access while traveling?  Wireless internet access of 1 gigabit will be available that is eight times faster than the average hotel room in the US.
