Fergie, Usher, The Kardashians, Ashlee Simpson, Denis Richards, Heidi Montag and NKOTB party in Las Vegas for New Year’s Eve ’08. The stars and celebrites come out to the entertainment capital of the world to lead the citywide New Year’s Eve 08 celebrations with style. Where else in the world can you party like a rockstar all night until the wee hours of the morning?!
The world knows celebs converge on Las Vegas. Not only does the visitor count skyrocket to about 300,000 for the evening, but daredevils with their motorcycle stunts have set up shop on the Las Vegas Strip. The shock and awe of this year’s America’s Party will be something to remember.
Fergie, 3x Grammy Award winner, is coming to Las Vegas for NYE and performs at Venetian hotel with “Fergalicious,†“Glamorous,†+ “Clumsy.†Who better than the hottest UK singer to party with?
Motorcyclist Robbie Knievel will jump 200 feet over the 900-degree fireballs from the new exploding Mirage volcano.
Then over at Paris Las Vegas, Robbie Maddison will attempt a 120 feet motorcycle jump and land on the 96-high Arc de Triomphe.
Rhys Millen will try to be the first person to complete a backflip and land in an off-road truck on ramps in the parking lot of The Rio Las Vegas hotel casino.
News channels, newspapers and television from around the world including FOX and ESPN will be chronicling the death defying feats scattered along the Las Vegas Boulevard. There have been no dress rehearsals for the motorcyclists. Will they finish the jump and live is on everyone’s minds.
While everyone will be counting down to ’09 on the inside of these lavish hotel parties, celebration and fireworks known the world over will be shot off from the ground this year along the Las Vegas Strip.
Finally, downtown Las Vegas will have their Tribute Palooza with new bands starting every hour under the biggest video screen in the world, Viva Vision. At the count of midnight, fireworks will be seen on the Fremont Street Experience beneath the canopy. Let the party begin!
