UFC 75 will be the first time U.S. and Canadian fans will experience an international fight for free on SPIKE TV. Both PRIDE and the Ultimate Fighting Championship fighters will meet in the Octagon including Rampage Jackson and Dan Henderson. Can you believe that sports fans had to wait almost 10 years for this super fight? This will also include Spike TV’s first ever title fight for the UFC.

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson was the UFC 71 victorious winner over Chuck Liddell. He did this in the first round and in less than two minutes. He received the light heavyweight crown against Liddell. Jackson made his mma debut with PRIDE Fighting in 2001. Jackson will be up against a PRIDE two title holder for this fight.

As unbelievable as it may seem Henderson is the only fighter in mixed martial arts history to hold two titles in two weight classes concurrently. Henderson represented the U.S. in the 1992 and 1996 Olympics in Greco Roman wrestling. He holds PRIDE’s 185 pound and 205 pound titles. Last February he was the winner over Wanderlei Silva, although two other times he was beaten. Henderson wants to make history with his fight against Jackson by becoming the first fighter to hold both PRIDE and UFC titles.

This is the first time the Octagon will see Mirko “Cro Cop” after his loss in UFC 70 to Gabriel Gonzaga in Manchester, England. He was the 2006 PRIDE Open Weight Grand Prix Champion and the fight fans didn’t expect to see Gonzaga kick “Cro Cop” to the head in UFC 74 with seconds remaining in the first round. Mirko attempts to defeat Kongo in the heavyweight division.

Kongo mad his fighting debut in 2006 at UFC 61 against Gilbert Aldana at 240 pounds. He had an impressive reputation and record as a kickbocker stopping Aldana in the first round. Then at UFC 62 he stopped Christian Wellisch in the first round. For his third win at UFC 70, he was the majority decision winner over Assuerio Silva from Brazil. What will the results show on this exciting night of fighting?
