Mountain Edge Las Vegas passes Summerlin as best selling master plan in the United States. Mountains Edge real estate is developed by Focus Property Group.

Even though Focus Property Group is going into foreclosure, they have claimed both number 1 and 5 best selling master plan in the country.

Mountains Edge sold 1,750 new homes for sale 2007 in the 3,500 acre master plan in south Las Vegas Valley. To move them from number 2 to number 1 was a difference of eight home sales.

Cosmopolitan Las Vegas condo hotel on The Strip begin foreclosure proceedings. Deutsch Bank notified the Cosmopolitan real estate developers a week ago that they will start bankruptcy due to the rising construction costs and volatile credit markets.

The luxury high rise is adjacent to the massive MGM Mirage Projecty CityCenter resort on the Strip.

Another potential construction delay or complete scrapping of a $6 billion development could be The Plaza at the previous site of the New Frontier across from Wynn Las Vegas, Nevada.
