Las Vegas New Year’s Eve fireworks spectacular on the Las Vegas Strip amaze over 303,000 fans.  People from all over the world have converged on this amazing city to gaze at the midnight fireworks spectacular by the Grucci team atop the seven hotels.

Thousands of fireworks shells loaded by 50 pyrotechnicians to produce the largest New Year’s Eve 2007 fireworks show in the world.  The more than three miles of wire have been triple checked for their connections. (more…)

Downtown Las Vegas New Year’s Eve party counts down to 2008 in Vegas style. Fremont Street Experience welcomes the Bangles with “Manic Monday” and The Doobie Brothers with “Taking It To The Streets” at America’s Party Live in concert.

The streets downtown will be filled with several live bands to rock the crowd. The action on the street will include the Globe of Death incredible motorcycle show with the Riders of the Thunderdome. 90 feet above the street will be the glorious Viva Vision showing the sites and sounds of the new year. 10 downtown Las Vegas casinos will be transformed into the largest private party. The celebration will include 12.5 million lights, nonstop entertainment, classic Las Vegas neon and an exciting party.

UFC 79 NEMESIS Chuck Liddell is winner over Wanderlei Silva by unanimous decision. UFC 79 pay per view event also had Georges St Pierre winner over Matt Hughes by submission. All of the mixed martial arts excitement in the Octagon took place Dec 29, in the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada real estate.

After six years of waiting for this fight it lived up to everyone’s expectations. Liddell was the winner in a three round unanimous decision. The former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion had a score of 30-27 twice and 29-28. He stopped his losing streak over the former PRIDE Champion.
